Cristasón acquires a new Pujol 100 PVB+
Cristasón, in an interview published in the online magazine Vidrio Perfil, shares their satisfaction at the purchase of a new oven.
For 40 years, Cristasón and Hornos Industriales Pujol have worked grown together. The work of this important Spanish glass company has always relied on its machinery and consumables, and that’s why they didn’t hesitate when it came to investing in a new Pujol 100 PVB+.
Cristasón sought to increase its plant production; the best option was to invest in a Pujol 100 PVB+. In addition to its cost-savings, the oven is quite versatile as it is able to produce laminated glass using EVA, PVB and ionoplast interlayers (SGP).
One feature that was decisive in making this choice was the fact that the Pujol 100 PVB+ is able to laminate using PVB without the need for an autoclave. This oven is safer as there is no risk of explosion due to pressure, but it also offers greater cost savings as well. An autoclave may be profitable when processing large quantities of glass which are always stable; but this is not always the case. The Pujol 100 PVB+ keeps costs stable regardless of production levels.
